A law firm in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney to provide comprehensive legal counsel and services to clients regarding estate planning, trusts, and conservatorships. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal drafting and client engagement and possess a deep commitment to delivering high-quality legal services with compassion.Job Duties:Conduct in-person planning sessions for potential clients to assess their estate planning needs and develop legal strategies.Design and oversee the implementation of estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.Supervise and review legal drafting prepared by paralegals and legal assistants to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.Represent clients for non-contested conservatorship and trust modification petitions as needed.Maintain ongoing communication with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and ensure their satisfaction with legal services.Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to optimize client service delivery and firm operations.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of experience practicing estate planning law.Active license and good standing with the California Bar.Strong knowledge of estate planning principles, tax implications, and relevant laws.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in client matters.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certification or specialization in estate planning (preferred).Skills:Legal drafting proficiency with attention to detail.Client-focused approach with a dedication to providing compassionate legal counsel.Problem-solving and analytical skills to navigate complex legal issues.Team-oriented mindset with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.Comcast brings together the best in media and technology.
