ADI combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world.Responsibilities include:Lead the development of advanced algorithms in robotics using state-of-the-art techniques.Create sandbox simulations, deployable implementations, and evaluation frameworks for algorithm performance and robustness.Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and robotics from reputable groups.Qualifications:Master’s degree or equivalent experience.8+ years of full-time industry experience in robotics and/or machine learning.Proven track record of working with robotics and/or machine learning in production settings.Strong background in machine learning and robotics with experience in:Planning and control algorithms (e.g., A*, MPC).Optimization techniques (e.g., linear/nonlinear optimization).State estimation algorithms (e.g., EKF, Particle Filter).Robotics toolkits (e.g., ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, Isaac).Deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.Reinforcement Learning and Imitation Learning.Software development for deployable machine learning systems.Familiarity with mapping techniques using LiDAR/ToF, mono/stereo vision (e.g., 2D/3D occupancy grid mapping, structure from motion).Preferred: Familiarity with foundation models and large language models.For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
