I am working with a well know retail brand based in Norwalk, Connecticut seeking an E-Commerce Specialist to join their team as a contractor with conversion potential.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Assist in planning and managing the website content and merchandising calendar for new product releases, promotions, and seasonal refreshes. Collaborate with the planning and merchandising teams to align content with the overall marketing strategy and company objectives, ensuring timely and relevant messaging that drives customer engagement and sales.Manage and update product listings, images, descriptions, and other content on the website to ensure accuracy, relevance, and consistency. Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings and overall site visibility.Collaborate with the development teams to enhance and optimize the ecommerce website to improve user experience, increase customer satisfaction, and boost website performance. Work closely with the development teams to implement updates, improvements, and new features.Analyze website usability and the customer journey to identify areas for improvement. Implement UX best practices to streamline the buying process, reduce cart abandonment, and improve customer retention.Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and sales data to identify conversion rate optimization opportunities. Conduct A/B testing and optimize landing pages, product pages, and checkout processes to maximize conversion rates.Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends, pricing strategies, and promotional activities. Use insights from market research to develop innovative promotional campaigns and maintain a competitive edge.Monitor the performance of promotions and website changes using analytics tools. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for ongoing improvement.Collaborate with various departments, including marketing, sales, and customer service, to align ecommerce strategies with overall business goals and ensure a seamless consumer experience.Skills:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or web management.Strong understanding of SEO, content management systems, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).Experience working on website development and user experience improvements.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to analyze performance data and provide actionable insights.Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of conversion rate optimization and A/B testing methodologies.Familiarity with market research and competitor analysis.
