Hershey Medical Center seeks a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician to join our faculty in beautiful Hershey, PA. We offer a unique opportunity to provide acute and urgent outpatient care as a float physician, serving diverse patients and needs across our ambulatory clinics. Our Family and Community Medicine Department provides quality primary care that is holistic, compassionate, and coordinated across our health system. We provide a safe, cost-effective environment that is patient-centered for the entire community. Position is non-tenure with academic rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) commensurate with experience.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1.0 FTE float physician family medicine clinics for set periods of time to provide acute and urgent care coverage serving our existing patients.80% for templated patient care (32 hours/week)10% (4 hours/week) allocated separately for asynchronous effort10% (4 hours/week) for administrative effort, including opportunities for independent research and medical student educational opportunitiesStandard clinic hours are Monday - FridayParticipation in outpatient call 8-12 days/yearClinics are located within a 45-minute driving radius of Hershey, PA
