SUMMARY

The Pricing Control Specialist I is responsible for processing corporate actions, setting up security master files, and reviewing the pricing of securities for Ultimus Fund Solutions. This position is a member of the Pricing Control Team which serves as a specialized team within the fund accounting department.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CORPORATE ACTIONS

Processes basic corporate actions for the funds.Maintains logs for corporate actions and corporate actions related tasks.Updates dividend rates for daily distributing and daily estimated mutual funds.SECURITY MASTER FILES

Sets up security master files (SMFs) in accounting system, primarily equity and options.Adjusts SMFs as needed.SECURITY PRICING

Provides documented support daily for prices that change by thresholds determined in the fund accounting procedures.Challenges prices with vendors as needed and maintain the price challenge log.Assists with the preparation and log communication of stale price review process with clients and administrators when needed.Assists with the Fair value of mutual fund prices for fund of funds when needed.WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Provides guidance and support to clients as needed.Communicates with management and the funds' custodians as needed.Works with all fund accounting teams in all offices as well as the private fund group and 529 team.May perform other duties and required and assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.0-1 years of fund accounting experience.Experience within the financial services industry, specifically securities.KNOWLEDGE

Financial industry.Microsoft Office Suite.Adobe Acrobat.SKILLS AND ABILITIES
