About The Role
We're on the hunt for a dynamic Audit Partner specializing in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) to join the hive on behalf of our clients. In this role, you'll lead and manage audit engagements for clients within the AEC group, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations. You'll also play a key role in cultivating strong client relationships, providing mentorship to audit teams, and staying updated on industry trends and regulations. If you're passionate about the AEC industry and have a knack for financial reporting, risk management, and leadership, we want to meet you!
Your Mission
Lead and manage audit engagements for AEC clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations.Oversee and review audit work papers, financial statements, and related reports.Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in financial matters.Provide guidance and mentorship to audit teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.Collaborate with other partners and managers to foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.Identify and assess risks associated with AEC engagements, developing strategies to mitigate these risks.Actively participate in business development activities, including client acquisition and relationship building.Identify opportunities for expanding services to existing clients and pursuing new business opportunities within the AEC group.
What You Bring
12+ years of extensive experience in auditing, with a focus on AEC clients.Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA certification is required.Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously.
Additional Requirements
Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.Must be at least 18 years of age.Willing to work Hybrid.
Bonus Points For
Big 4 experience preferred.Strong client relationship management skills.Business development experience.
