We’re looking for a strong product leader to drive this vision forward!As a Senior Product Manager for the Loan Lifecycle team, you will find yourself at the core of Affirm’s backend loan systems and the orchestration layer between the loan system and our front-end applications. You will be responsible for building foundational technology solutions that power Affirm's loan processes end to end. This role requires a deep understanding of complex financial products and data systems, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, finance, compliance, and product teams to drive impactful solutions. Your driving goal is to evolve the way our loan data and reporting structure works in light of new opportunities from across the payments and lending space.What You'll Do
Own and execute the product roadmap for the Loan Lifecycle team, managing foundational data systems like Loans Platform, Loans Ledger, and Financial Reporting, while ensuring efficient and accurate data flows between systems.Partner closely with engineering leadership, accounting, finance, compliance, legal, and other cross-functional teams to support a range of long-term initiatives, ad-hoc requests and new product launches.Lead efforts to enhance our platform's capabilities enabling expansion into new markets, new product launches, and the transformation of our reporting infrastructure.Drive operational improvements across our loan systems to increase efficiency, stability, and scalability while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and compliance.Serve as the internal subject matter expert, guiding product and business teams on best practices for working with our systems.What We’re Looking For
4+ years of product management experience in finance, fintech, or payments-related industries, ideally with a focus on backend financial systems or loan products.This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.Experience in defining and driving product strategies for financial or data platforms in a heavily matrixed environment.Proven track record of launching and managing high-impact platform and data products.Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, capable of driving consensus across various business, financial, compliance, legal, and tech stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both non-technical stakeholders.Highly analytical mindset, able to balance strategic thinking with a strong bias for action and hands-on problem-solving.Pay Grade - NEquity Grade - 8Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $190,000 - $240,000USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $169,000 - $219,000Affirm is proud to be a remote-first company! Affirmers in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely, but will occasionally be required to work out of their assigned Affirm office.
