The goal of Operations Director is to deliver best-in-class ILI services to our customers, support the growth and development of our United States business, and ensure continued success within the region. This position will oversee the management of United States Operational locations, upskilling the teams, cascading communications across the business, collaborating globally across all operations departments, and delivering on agreed metrics for success while maintaining quality and safety.Job Overview1. Oversees the management and execution of pipeline inline inspection projects ensuring operational discipline and rigor to the defined key account management process from project hand over to project closure. The measures of success include defined company metrics along with process efficiencies, cost control, completeness, and timeliness in adherence to this process for all projects.2. Ensures proper management of workshop and in-field inspection operations within all appointed regions. Measurement of success include balanced utilization, cost control, quality of work performed and the development of customer facing skills measured by customer feedback (via field questionnaires, market studies, CAPAs and complaints).3. Participates in the development of the vision, goals and objectives in line with the overall global company direction. Ensures that managers and employees are aware of them and understand how they link to the strategic priorities of the company.4. Takes full ownership to develop and maintain Customer relationships and is held accountable for all Customer ILI project deliverables.5. Promotes the highest HSE standards with the aim of zero accidents or incidents both internally to all employees, visitors, and externally to all customers ensuring compliance with national Health, Safety, and Environment laws and regulations.6. Ensures all personnel are performing the duties required of them by NDT Global and that they are sufficiently trained and competent to do so.7. Participates in the development and implementation of annual budgets for applicable Regions. Assist in providing financial management reporting vs budget including forecasting and regular business report to leadership as per defined reporting schedule.8. Leads and implements a business culture of operational excellence, technical innovation, and world class quality and safety in their respective business locations.9. Ensures continual process improvement in HSEQ performance using NDT Global systems and processes (e.g.: Audits, CAPA, See It – Own It – Share It) as well as takes responsibility on quality, work safety, fire prevention including administrative and legal matters.10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Studies, Management or related education is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of corresponding work experience in the pipeline inspection industry, or in a comparable service-industry environment is required.

10 years of experience in a manager role position is required.

Must have strong understanding of non-destructive measurement principles (e.g.: UT, PAUT, MFL, Eddy Current, ART)

Proven track record of team leading and project management skills.

Proven track record of growing an organization and process improvement.

Must have experience planning and managing departmental or project budgets.

Software/Technology/Equipment:

Intermediate knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (SAP or similar program)

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Work Environment:

Works in a general office environment (hybrid 3 - 4 days in the office)

Occasional work in a shop/field environment

Occasional domestic and/or international travel
