CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.Summary:Goldbelt CP Marine is seeking a Technical Specialist to support the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) in Norfolk, VA. ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:Provide technical support in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of systems, applications, or networks within the organization.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, conducting root cause analysis and applying effective solutions to minimize downtime.Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the proper integration and performance of technical systems.Assist in the design and development of technical solutions, ensuring they meet organizational and project requirements.Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Support the development and deployment of new technologies, tools, or systems, ensuring smooth implementation and transition.Conduct system monitoring and performance testing to identify inefficiencies, recommending improvements where necessary.The technical specialist works under the supervision of a senior technical specialist.Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsNecessary Skills and Knowledge:Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on delivering effective solutions.Familiarity with technical documentation and system analysis.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Experience with system monitoring tools and techniques.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degreeAt least 5 years of experience in this field including, but not limited to, leading the performance of studies, surveys and assessments (such as calculation of condition indices (CI) and facility condition indices (FCI), requirements generation utilizing builder methodology, water and energy efficiency conservation, CBMM, RCM, and Supply Chain Management ).Experience conducting extensive research of regulations, policies, and analysis of data to prepare business case analyses, process improvements, SOPs and staffing studies; technical writing and Project Development Scopes for Cat III/IV work; recommissioning or retro commissioning of facilities.
