ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the design, development, and support of new or existing HDD firmware, performance and power features.Design, implement, validate, and maintain performance and power components.Design and develop test cases for firmware, performance and power features.Participate in design meetings, test planning sessions, and code reviews.Collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to derive innovative quality firmware solutions.Document findings in bug tracking system, create and update web pages for sharing information.Qualifications

REQUIREDBS or MS in CS, CE, EE or related fields graduating no later than May 2024.Right to work in the US without requiring Western Digital to commence or sponsor an immigration case.Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python or other relevant languages.Demonstrated expertise or course knowledge in structured code development and debugging.Bonus: knowledge/experience with interface bus analyzers, SATA/SAS, MATLAB.SKILLSMust be able to work effectively as part of a multi-site agile development team.Excellent problem-solving, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.Additional Information
