This senior leadership role is responsible for leading the Product and Partner Marketing functions while ensuring our Global Market Strategy is aligned with market realities. Required of this role is a deep understanding of all aspects of the nCino Platform, its solutions, products and features, the global financial services industry from broad trends and research down to specific roles at an institution, and the nCino brand.

This position is responsible for attracting, growing, and retaining talent, managing personnel (both managers and individual contributors), budgets, process, goals, and relationships between all external and internal stakeholders including (but not limited too) customers, partners, and key departments such as Sales, Professional Services, Product Development & Engineering and Partnerships. Success of this role is measured through; driving the creation of credible thought leadership, influencing opportunities, and driving revenue, cross selling of product functionality, inbound leads, number of users and ensuring all work aligns with the nCino Brand.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develop the company’s Product Marketing strategy and work with our SVP – Head of Innovation and GTM to execute nCino’s go to market (GTM) efforts across all solutions, products, and key features as well as across all geographies ensuring alignment and synergy.

Design and develop Product Marketing content in all forms and continually manage content library to ensure collateral is up to date and drives the right value in line with nCino’s Brand Philosophy.

Develop and grow our Partner Marketing capabilities to take advantage of relationships with our Global System Integrator and Technical Partnership Ecosystem and drive both re-sell and core solution revenue.

Collaborate on the strategy and content development for the nCino Research Institute, helping reinforce nCino as a thought leader in the Financial Services Technology space.

Identify and develop thought leadership topics, materials, and presentations. Including online, through PR and at industry events while also providing similar opportunities for all team members.

Participate in customer and prospect meetings. Transfer knowledge from these efforts to others within Marketing, while also providing opportunities for other leaders on the Team to participate in similar meetings.

Serve as the subject matter expert on the Bank Operating System and banking industry in advising other parts of Marketing including (but not limited too); PR, AR, Creative Team, BDG, etc.

Leverage data, analytics, and reports to measure the impact of each business function and area of responsibility.

Accountable for aligning and driving results to the department’s goals and objectives by leading a diverse team of highly skilled professionals and department managers.

Serve as career coach and advisor, utilizing knowledge of the function to develop programs to ensure professional team growth and contribute to long-term talent strategy and succession planning. Effectively manage selection of talent and ongoing performance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or similar field.

12+ years’ experience in Marketing, Product Development and/or Consulting, including experience in a client facing role, or combination of experience, education, including at least:

4+ years’ experience in financial services and/or SaaS industry.

2+ years’ experience in project management.

4+ years management experience.

Experience with developing go to marketing plans.

Exceptional writing, editing and communication/presentation skills.

Experience preparing competitor analysis and forming ROI calculators for products.

Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed metrics and revenue goals.

Proven track record of designing and writing marketing copy and content.

Strong presentation skills and a wiz at building PowerPoints.

Excellent data analytics skills, including the ability to gather and manage large amounts of information, spot patterns within it, and draw conclusions and insights.

Proactive, motivated, self-starter with the ability to lead, mentor, develop and manage others.

Travel Requirements: may require up to 50% travel.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or similar field.

Experience with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Automation Systems, especially Pardot.

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licenses/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is: $164,100.00 - $287,200.00.
