Our commercial truck business is one of our newest departments at the dealership. We are a Chevrolet certified medium duty (45,55 and 6500s) dealer but also work to sell an array of HD trucks and vans. Along with our new commercial service center we are working to build a department that can service businesses and fleets across the tri-state area.

About the Position:

The commercial sales manager will be responsible for sourcing and selling commercial trucks to regional businesses. The manager will work closely with the general sales manager to order new medium duty inventory and plan for bailment inventory through our upfit partners. Through consistent prospecting and follow-up on leads the commercial manager will help to grow the commercial sales business. This position has the opportunity to grow to oversee a commercial sales team if business growth will warrant it.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prospect potential businesses and customers to earn additional business.

Using the CRM to perform follow-up with commercial leads though call, text and email.

Maintain truck pricing to make sure trucks are profitable and competitive in the marketplace.

Maintain a proper inventory based on the sale rate of in-stock units.

Assist in managing the online presence of truck inventory across Work Truck Solutions and Commercial Truck Trader.

Work with the general sales manager to order new medium duty inventory.

Plan with the general sales manager inventory orders through upfit partners.

REQUIREMENTS:

Previous medium duty experience is preferred but not required.
