About our Director of Institutional Giving position

What you will be doing!Responsible for developing strategies to secure contributions from foundations and corporations for Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai’i, Alaska, Indiana, Kentucky (PPGNHAIK) and Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates (PPAA).Report to the Chief Development Officer and direct the activities of the institutional giving team.Steward a portfolio of institutional relationships and develop a robust corporate engagement program to increase support for our mission across our six-state affiliate.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to attract and secure funding from foundations and corporate partners.Identifying, cultivating, and securing new funding opportunities and partnerships to advance organizational goals.Collaborating with the Chief Development Officer to create and manage an annual budget for institutional giving, ensuring effective allocation of resources.Leading, mentoring, and supporting a team of development professionals, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.Designing and implementing a strategic corporate engagement program to build and deepen relationships with corporate partners.Developing and enforcing policies and procedures for corporate engagement to maximize impact and efficiency.Creating and executing strategies for corporate sponsorship, cause marketing, and employee engagement initiatives.Managing a personal portfolio of key institutional funders, ensuring regular and meaningful engagement.Overseeing the preparation of grants, proposals, reports, sponsorship packages, and other communications to institutional donors.Analyzing research conducted by the team to identify potential new funders, track year-over-year growth, and assess trends in giving and engagement.Partnering with business teams to explore new opportunities for branded products and cross-departmental projects.Aligning sponsorship offerings with organizational brand strategies in collaboration with the marketing and communication team.

Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in institutional fundraising.Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:Capital or comprehensive campaign experience.Strong knowledge of fundraising principles, practices, and trends, particularly in the foundation and corporate sectors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Salary Range:$88,460 - $193,274

Position Type:Remote- Exempt - Full-time
