Machine Learning Engineer

Salary Range: $130,000.00 To 165,000.00 AnnuallyThis position directly impacts all areas of the business by implementing machine learning & big data solutions. You will work closely with multiple machine learning teams & partnering with engineering teams to develop Machine Learning Models, Algorithms, and Applications. This work includes performing experiments, providing predictive features, and assisting in the design and implementation of the backend tooling supporting those features.Responsibilities:

Research and implement appropriate machine learning algorithms and toolsRun machine learning tests and experimentsSelect appropriate datasets and data representation methodsDevelop machine learning applications according to requirementsMonitor and optimize the quality and performance of our models, services, and toolsRequirements:

Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence Developer/Architect experienced in creating ML and AI based applications and systemsYears of Experience: 7 or more years of experienceBS, MS, or PhD in either Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field (MS and above preferred)General software development experience including architecture design, programming, testing, and deploymentExperience creating custom Machine Learning based solutions, including knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms, statistical analysis of data, clustering techniques, neural networks, and various deep learning methodsExperience with data curation, cleaning, storage, management, and governanceAbility to work in fast paced collaborative team-based environments with both local and remote colleaguesMust be eligible for and maintain a Secret ClearanceDesired Programming Languages:

Python - including libraries such as numpy, matplotlib, and Keras/Tensorflow or other ML stackC++C# - libraries including .Net CoreSQLDesired Technical Skills:

ETL experience – working with Postgres and various other relational databases, csv file import, working with Unicode (UTF-8) and jsonLinux experience – working with filesystems, moving data, backups, and scriptingUse of command line environments including bash on Linux and PowerShell on WindowsExperience with Visual Studio, PyCharm or similar IDEExperience with version control systems including Git and other data versioning toolsFamiliarity with Jenkins
