Job Description:The New York and Washington, D.C. offices of McDermott, Will & Emery seek a 3rd – 5th year Associate with an M&A background to join its Energy Advisory group.McDermott advises industry-leading clients on some of the largest, highest-profile and most complex renewable energy project financing transactions around the globe. Our 40+ lawyer renewable energy team is routinely selected by global market leaders to create innovative structures, to mitigate risk and to create business opportunities in a complex and dynamic energy sector. We represent leading project sponsors and developers, private equity funds, tax equity investors, financial institutions, independent power producers, regulated utilities, corporate power purchasers and equipment manufacturers along the entire arc of project development, construction, operation, finance and acquisition.Job Requirements:3-5 years of M&A experience preferably in renewables/electric power areaTeam-oriented with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working effectively within a deadline-driven environment is requiredStrong academic credentialsAs part of our ongoing commitment to be
