As a Staff Security Engineer, you will help Ripple design, build, and use cloud infrastructure securely and at scale. You will work closely with the Infrastructure and Data Engineering teams to ensure we are building securely to protect our business and our customers.WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Maintain security hardening configurations and guidance for a diverse set of services available across AWS, Azure, and other public cloud providers.Conduct security assessments to identify issues and collaborate with multi-functional teams on remediation to ensure readiness for production implementation.Implement security perimeters for all Ripple environments, strategize IAM solutions, detect vulnerabilities, ensure effective patching, and secure public cloud infrastructure.Collaborate with engineering to identify automation opportunities, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall quality.Actively engage in compliance activities such as training, audit preparation, authoring playbooks, and ensuring BAU tasks are accurately completed with required artifacts.WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
8+ years of industry experience securing public cloud services and DevOps deployment processes.In-depth experience with Cloud Computing providers like AWS, GCP, Azure, and familiarity with Cloud Security tools.Strong DevOps skills to support team collaboration in scripting and development, with experience in Terraform, Python, Git, and Artifactory, and a proven ability to use these tools effectively in a CI/CD pipeline.Strong understanding of Kubernetes environment and security principles.Experience with Information Security frameworks and processes for Cloud Security, Vulnerability Management, Risk Analysis, Reporting Metrics, and Assessments.Problem-solving skills to resolve problems effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism, and integrity.Values individuals and embraces diversity by integrating differences and promoting diversity and inclusion across teams and functions.Understands and anticipates people's needs, skills, and abilities, to coach, motivate and empower them for success.COMPENSATION:
For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.CA Annual Base Salary Range:
