Global Market Research Manager

Waltham, MAYour Tasks:Responsible for the development and implementation of global market research activities, including planning and execution of primary and secondary market studies with a focus on main pharma markets (US, Europe, Japan).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Plan and design market research analyses based on a sound understanding of the research tools, techniques, datasets, and resources available.Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with best-in-class market research vendors, including budget responsibility.Have the functional knowledge of and experience using statistical methodologies and analytical models.Provide effective guidance to planning of studies, including research material design.Develop and cultivate positive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to appropriately understand and define key business questions.Input and guide report structure to illustrate complex analysis in a clear, logical presentation.Translate key research findings into strategic and tactical recommendations that help drive brand success.Participate in short-term and long-term strategic planning.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, statistics/mathematics, medicine, sciences, health economics, sociology, psychology. Master's degree preferred; At least 5 years' work experience in market research/specialist agencies; Or a combination of education and experience.Experience in working across regions and within a commercial, market research team, responsible for managing projects end to end.Knowledge of the disease areas within the pharma sector preferred.Distinctive communication skills as well as independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working.Collaborator - support interdependence between teams working together toward common goals.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
