POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Manager, Commercial Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for executing the people strategy for the Neurology Sales team. To enable the business to achieve their organizational objectives, this individual will facilitate and deliver on all people related initiatives including performance, talent review, organizational culture, engagement and retention, individual development planning, and talent development. They will be responsible for building trusting relationships with and establishing themselves as a valued business partner with the Neurology Sales Management and Sales Specialists teams. They will partner closely with the Director, Commercial HRBP on broad functional objectives to continuously improve and deliver on the employee lifecycle HR programs and processes in support of the overall commercial business. They will partner with the Director Talent Management on the development and execution of people initiatives, ensuring the initiatives meet the needs of the greater organization as well as for the Neurology Sales team. To be successful in this role, the individual will have a proven ability to influence, and partner with leaders across the organization and demonstrate the ability to succeed in an agile, fast paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with Neurology Sales Management to provide guidance and partnership on talent processes, employee relations, performance management and organizational culture.

Collaborate with talent acquisition and sales leaders to identify and execute talent strategies to attract, identify, hire, develop, promote and retain top talent.

Provide day to day performance management guidance to managers in the 3 facets of PM (rewarding and recognizing top talent, coaching for high performance and performance managing low performers).

Utilize consulting and coaching skills to coach and provide feedback to managers and employees at all levels.

Mediate and resolve employee relations issues: conduct thorough and objective investigations as needed; work closely with Director HR, Compliance, legal counsel to ensure employee relations processes and tactics are in compliance with company policy and employment laws in all states and municipalities.

Collaborate on the execution of critical HR initiatives and projects (performance management, organizational design, talent reviews, workforce planning, talent initiatives).

Partner with HR Team to develop and maintain project documentation such as timelines, work plans, calendars, and dashboards to provide visibility into project portfolio for the HR function, organize and facilitate project kick-off meetings, status meetings, other relevant project meetings, and After-Action Reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field is required.

6-8 years of experience in Human Resources with a minimum of 3 years of related HR business partnering experience, preferably with a sales team in a commercial Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences organization.

Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employment relations, business partnering, compensation practices, and performance management.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills.

Strong knowledge of employment law and understanding of HR and industry related compliance requirements required.
