POSITION SUMMARY:The Physician Assistant (PA) provides health care services. The PA provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare service, as delegated by a physician. The PA will report to the Nurse Manager of the department for all employee/employer issues regarding departmental and organizational operations. EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:Minimum:Graduate of a PA educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission (ARC) on Education for Physician Assistants (or its predecessor agencies) OR current certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.Recent experience appropriate to the clinical area where practice will occur, such as pediatrics, family practice, rural health care, walk-in medical care, occupational medicine, anticoagulation therapy. New graduates will be considered.
