Front-End Angular Developer (remote)

to support our Federal customer in the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will be a passionate and proactive senior or intermediate Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a time-critical web application project, integrating with .NET Core APIs. You will be part of a small, agile team following best practices and industry standards, including OWASP Top 10 for security, responsive design, accessibility guidelines, and comprehensive unit testing.

About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and proactive senior or intermediate Angular Developer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a time-critical web application project, integrating with .NET Core APIs. You will be part of a small, agile team following best practices and industry standards, including OWASP Top 10 for security, responsive design, accessibility guidelines, and comprehensive unit testing.

Responsibilities• Develop and Maintain Front-End: Design, develop, and maintain the front-end of web application using Angular (18).• Component Libraries: Kendo UI (Telerik)• API Integration: Seamlessly integrate the front-end with .NET Core APIs.• Agile Methodologies: Work within an agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.• Best Practices: Follow and advocate for industry best practices, including responsive design, accessibility, and security guidelines (OWASP Top 10).• Unit Testing: Write and maintain unit tests for all developed features to ensure high-quality code.• Independent and Collaborative Work: Independently handle tasks and collaborate effectively with team members.• Code Reviews and Documentation: Participate in code reviews and contribute to the documentation to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.• Time Management: Effectively manage time and meet deadlines in a time-critical project environment.

Requirements• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.o Proficiency in Angular (knowledge of the latest version is a plus).o Basic understanding of .NET Core and experience integrating with RESTful APIs.o Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.o Understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).o Awareness of accessibility standards and guidelines.o Knowledge of security best practices (OWASP Top 10).• Testing: Experience or familiarity with unit testing frameworks• Tools and Technologies:o Version control systems (TFS).o Agile tools (e.g., Jira).o Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.• Soft Skills:o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.o Excellent communication and collaboration skills.o Ability to work independently and within a team.o Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

Nice to Have• Experience with .NET Core: Hands-on experience with .NET Core development.• UI/UX Design Skills: Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.• DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools and deploying application in IIS.
