The Position:

We are seeking a talented full-time, Product Designer to collaborate with product managers, content creators and developers to produce effective, intuitive and delightful user interfaces.

The primary role of this position will be to work closely with product leads, engineers, developers and customer researchers. As the creative lead, you will drive feature development, discovery, and design iterations. Your focus will be enhancing the user experience as a multidisciplinary designer and researcher for our online mortgage products.

The work you do here actually gets produced and tested. We move fast with little hierarchy. We A/B test everything, so there's no shortage of work. You're the first line of creativity, ideating, iterating, and producing user interactions that help customers seamlessly get through the process with ease and delight. For this role, we are seeking a candidate who loves all aspects of product development. We expect you to think conceptually, and execute pixel-perfect, flawless designs based on qualitative research.

Responsibilities:Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance the UX of our mortgage experience, keeping cross-product verticals in mind. Innovate, test, and design features and new concepts to improve customer interactions.Take high-level direction and independently lead discovery processes and testing phases, demonstrating a proactive approach to identify opportunities, challenges, and innovative solutions.Conduct user tests and discovery sessions to inform design decisions.Produce both mobile and desktop designs, including high-fidelity prototypes for user testing.Partner with developers to ensure the final product aligns with your creative vision.Adhere to brand and style guidelines while following Figma best practices.Maintain web and brand standards, staying current with new technologies and user interface trends.Brainstorm and collaborate with the Creative Team.Demonstrate a passion for design and creativity, pushing creative boundaries and exploring new concepts to shape the LendingTree brand.Bring a fresh perspective on how consumers interact with our advertising, products, and marketing efforts.Our Ideal Candidate:

Is a graduate from a 4-year school with a UI degree (or equivalent) with 2-5 years of experience, including responsive design and user research.Has a portfolio of UI and digital design that demonstrates excellent design principles, and problem-solving through visual communication and thorough discovery.Has excellent interpersonal skills - should be able to collaborate closely with Product and Tech peers as a key creative partner.Can understand business objectives and proactively contribute both strategic and design ideas.Interested in the analytics associated with the creatives you produce and test, to improve designs by making small but significant changes.Can work in a fast-paced team environment and juggle multiple projects at once.Can funnel constructive criticism into new ideas.Produces quick and dirty concepts for review and testing before driving full speed ahead.Professional Knowledge:
