At the moment we are looking for a Tech Artist, who will use their knowledge of programming and art to integrate Lucid reality Labs 3D Art and Animation visual content into our VR, XR and AR projects, with a primary focus on the Unity Engine:

Requirements:High attention to detail.Excellent communication skills.Experience with Unity's Particle System and/or VFX GraphA strong portfolio or demo reel.Solid understanding of art and animation pipelines.Strong knowledge of Unity Engine and Rendering pipelines Unity provides. Experience in creating custom RPs is a big plus.Setting up workflows of art productionFamiliarity with game systems and the game development process.Scripting skills - C#Good proficiency with Unity's NavMesh systemFamiliarity with the Unreal Engine a BonusTechnologies: Primarily Unity Game Engine, Unreal Engine Knowledge a bonus.

Liaising between heads of programming and design teamsResearching and developing technical tools for a projectCreating and editing shaders (HLSL, Shader Graph, Amplify)Supporting artists and engineers in the 3D art pipelineAssisting in asset performance and validationSolving complex technical issues during developmentDeciding on what software and tools are required for productionDeveloping and maintaining resources and pipelines along with programmersPorting finished art to the game engineEnsuring final art runs to full visual fidelityWorking within the limits of the game engine, curating file sizes, polygon counts and loading speedsEnforcing standards as outlined by heads of departmentsDeveloping tools to support production pipelineSetting up character animations and controllersOptimizing environments and establishing physics barriersCreating realtime and baked lighting setupsResearching and overseeing the implementation of rendering techniquesDeveloping performance of frame rate and memoryBuilding navigation data and colliders for complex scenesMonitoring the performance of the applicationMaintaining technical documentatioWhat we offer:
