Description
Absorb and spread knowledge from Head Office Global Implementation and business units.
Assist Commercial & EDI Systems Support Manager to enforce ZIM's Best Practice, procedures, and business processes.
Handling support issues through the remedy system including escalation process and following them.
Communicate with end-user to understand the system issue and resolving within SLA
Performing system analysis for enhancement
Monitor and follow up system developments and enhancements
Testing of system enhancements
Assisting Commercial & EDI Systems Support Manager on new system implementations, EDI Integration, projects, new products, module, functionalities, etc.
Experience as a business process analyst to optimize business processes
Experience with data intense business operations, requirements gathering and documentation, managing client relationships, business process analysis.
Excellent Interpersonal Skills with strong and clear written and verbal communication
The BPA must have an relevant education background and preferably experience of working in shipping/logistics or related industry.
The BPA must have experience engaging with business users and leader at a process level to reviewing and analyzing business processes, process flows, requirements, design business flows and providing consultation on complex projects.
The BPA will work with a team responsible for business process re-engineering with divisions as a part of the data modernization initiative.
Leads the analysis and support with the development of new business process, new application systems, and software support and applications maintenance in order to create and implement new solutions
Collects and analyze business requirements for large, multi-functional projects.
Gathers information on projects or groups to be supported, provide analysis on processes and applications, and makes recommendations for internal or external software process development.
Interviews end users, and customers to provide an accurate analysis of the business flow and develop and document the scope of the project.
Provides qa testing, end user training.
Provides project/change management skills for supporting business and system process re-engineering
Enforcing Best Practice, procedures and business processes in cross business disciplines for all agencies in cross Regions.
Requirements•Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline•3-5 years' experience Business and System Analysis experience•Knowledge in EDI Analysis (Electronic Data Interchange) and API•Knowledge of Various EDI Standards (UN-Edifact, X.12 Ansi and XML)•Excellent Process analysis, Process Interview and Documentation experience (Visio/Excel)•Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Proficient in problem approaching & trouble-shooting•Knowledge in requirement gathering, document preparation, QA, UAT and Support in relevant systems•Experience in Business Process Flow and Container Shipping Industry Knowledge is an advantage
