We are the state’s flagship nursing program, enrolling more than 1000 students on two campuses and at numerous academic-practice partner sites. The College of Nursing, an integral component of the University System of Georgia is part of the state’s only publicly-funded comprehensive academic health science center including schools of medicine, dentistry, and allied health sciences. The College of Nursing is adjacent to Augusta University Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Georgia, Georgia Cancer Center, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center, providing ample opportunity for clinical experiences for students and faculty. Additionally, the college has a thriving Nurse-Managed Health Center, affording additional clinical practice and teaching opportunities focused on primary care, telehealth and behavioral health.
