Weekly Pay Range - $2032 To $2257 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night - 12 Hours Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 per week Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Must have a valid RN License Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: Experience in medical/surgical environment Job Description: - Work with a variety of patients including, but not limited to, those with Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), hip displacement, and chemotherapy treatments.- Care for patients undergoing different procedures such as Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Total Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVRs), Watchman Implant procedures, and Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABGs).- Manage pre- and post-operative care for knee/hip replacements and abdominal surgeries.- Treat patients with common diagnoses such as pneumonia, seizures, strokes, ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarctions (STEMIs), and altered mental status.- Float to different units as needed and within skillset requirements.- Work every other weekend as part of the shift requirement.- Adapt and effectively use Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system - Epic.- Based on flu and COVID vaccine requirements, medical or religious exceptions are accepted.- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:6 in a 48, 46, or 41-bed facility.This position demands adaptability and proficiency in handling a diverse patient group, alongside a readiness to float as necessary within a skill-based framework.
