Position Summary:

Ale-8-One Bottling Company is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, driven individual with a passion for sales. This sales position will develop, maintain, and grow "On and Off Premise" account volume within the Nashville area. Qualified candidates will have proven ability to generate, execute and close sales calls on targeted accounts, drive awareness of brand availability, execute the look of success, sell, and implement campaigns, and develop strong customer relations coupled with excellent customer care and service.

The traits of an ideal candidate:

Communication: Communication is essential to the success of this role. You often need to communicate with customers and other sales/distribution teams. You also need to communicate with the brand's employees to ensure that everyone is on the same page.

Strategic thinking: This role uses strategic thinking to plan, execute and obtain on premise sales. They also use strategic thinking to develop creative ideas and to determine what will be most effective for sales.

Project management: This position will be responsible for planning and executing on premise sales. This includes managing a target list, executing the sales, and ensuring the success of the sale. Project management skills can help you manage a large-scale project and ensure that all aspects are completed on time and to the company's standards.

Essential Functions of the Position:

Business Development and SalesWorking individually and with distributors sales teams to secure new accountsIntroducing the brand to the on and off premise and securing new accountsDevelop target lists of accounts that do not currently carry our productExecute and close sales calls on target accountsTrack daily sales call activityManage customer base through a CRM toolMonitor sales performance, aim to meet or exceed targetsUnderstand distribution and pricing for target market / locations, and ensure distribution is established after the sale.Monitor and report actual sales and distribution versus the targets

Review store inventoryMake recommendations for order levels

Prepare annual market plans, sales forecasting, and budgetCreate and implement programs that will drive growth for company and customerWork with Marketing department to develop POS and sales sheets for targeted channelsCustomer Relationships

Develop and maintain relationships in and around the sales territory

Gain a clear understanding of customer business and needs of the businessProvide customer with support regularlyReview the needs of the customer and business regularly

Create relationships with distributors and key customers to keep our brand top of mindSpecial Events

Communicate upcoming product development and special promotions with customersCoordinate and execute marketing campaigns and sampling events with new accounts to drive brand awarenessQualifications

Position Requirements:

2-5 years beverage sales experienceWilling to travel between Nashville, TN and Lexington, KY and elsewhere as neededAvailability to work evenings and weekendsStrong planningand analytical skillsStrong negotiation skillsSales and Key Account experience in large and small store formatsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation development skillsProficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and must be able to adapt to new technologiesFlexible approach to work environment.
