(3rd Shift) Skilled Machine Operators Needed!
Advance Services, Inc. is seeking experienced Machine Operators for a company conveniently located right off I-80, providing quick access. In this role, you will be responsible for examining job orders to determine quantity to be cut, stock specifications, and special die cutting instructions. You will need to make necessary adjustments, perform required maintenance, and communicate information between shifts. Pay is starting at $25.90, depending on experience !
ResponsibilitiesSet up, maintain, and operate Die Cutters, ensuring efficient job performance and adherence to safety and productivity standards.Review job orders to determine cutting quantities, stock specifications, and special instructions, and make necessary adjustments.Inspect and repair cutting dies, ensuring high-quality output and compliance with company standards.Communicate effectively between shifts and input data for tracking inventory and waste.Perform maintenance, cleaning, and occasional physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds and working in confined spaces.
Job Requirements
3 years of Die Cutting experience (preferably in the folding carton industry) or 3-5 years' experience with equipment as a Production Assistant in a folding carton plant.Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work independently, and understanding of technical instructions.Proficiency in computer and math skills, with the ability to distinguish color variations.Flexibility to work various shifts and perform overtime as needed.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to handle frequent lifting and physical tasks.
Hours
10:00pm - 6:30am, Monday - Friday
