We're seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to work closely and collaborate with business functional users to understand/comprehend business requirements. This role will perform quality analysis, system support, through the use of outlined software testing processes and procedures to ensure ongoing operational efficiency while delivering against needed enhancements.

Essential Duties:Establish collaborative relationships with Project Managers and Software Development Managers to ensure the success of project test phases.Work under limited direction, independently determine and develop an approach to solutions.Coordinate and manage relationships between Quality Assurance and key stakeholders of departments and product teams.Analyze functional and technical documentation to determine if the program will perform according to user request and conform to guidelines.Perform manual testing of web applications to identify and report defects, ensuring high-quality software releases.Conduct API testing using tools like Postman to validate data flow and integration between different software components.Utilize Salesforce for testing and validating customizations, integrations, and configurations.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality aspects during the design and development phase.Conduct web page testing to ensure consistent functionality, usability, and adherence to design specifications.Utilize automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress) to design, implement, and maintain automated test suites.Utilize JIRA to log, track, and manage defects and issues identified during testing. Provide detailed and accurate information about the defects, including stepsWrite test scripts in programming languages like JavaScript to automate test scenarios and improve testing efficiency.Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining accurate defect records.Work closely with the team to prioritize testing activities and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.Continuously enhance and improve the testing processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, AND four years practical or relevant experience, OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications:

Evidence of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience in manual testing, automation testing, and API testing.Demonstrated knowledge of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.Experience in logging and tracking defects within JIRA's issue tracking system, including capturing detailed defect descriptions, steps to reproduce, and supporting attachments/screenshots.Demonstrated knowledge with web application testing across different browsers and platforms.Demonstrated knowledge with Salesforce platform and its various modules and features.Experience in using tools like Postman for API testing and validating data flows.Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress) for web application testing.Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript to write test scripts for automation.Demonstrated knowledge with HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.Demonstrated knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.Evidence of effective analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.evidence of effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Evidence of relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.ASU offers a total compensation package that includes valuable employee benefits. Working Environment

EdPlus at ASU is located at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. The center houses a diverse business community that links technology, research, education, and entrepreneurship to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders in the knowledge economy.

Activities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting or standing. Daily use of desktop or laptop computer is required. Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential duties. Regular review of completed tasks.

EdPlus at ASU supports flexible work options, ranging from alternate work schedules to hybrid remote work schedules, subject to approvals per ASU policy. (This is not a fully remote position.)
