Gastroenterologist, Advanced Endoscopy Physician

Job DescriptionOur client, an independent teaching hospital at the forefront of innovative medicine in Brooklyn, is hiring a Gastroenterologist, Advanced Endoscopy Physician. J oin a distinguished faculty team. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive and compassionate care for people with disorders of the GI tract, pancreas, biliary tract and liver. Provide diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, with the goal of minimizing the patient's need for further surgery and maintaining the integrity of the GI tract. Build the practice and becoming active in the community Opportunities for research and teaching Requirements: MD or DO Hold accreditation from the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology Fellowship trained New York State medical license or be eligible for licensure Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration Commitment to patient-centered multidisciplinary GI care Experience in general gastroenterology and advanced GI services (ERCP/EUS) required Will consider both experienced and newly trained providers Perks: Great environment, NO Micro-Managing Dedicated to improving employees' work experience Employee discount program provides discounts on theater tickets, amusement park admissions, clothing, restaurants, hotels, and rental cars Pre-tax benefits for mass transit and parking expenses related to commuting to and from work Salary: The posted range is not a guarantee.
