Description

The On-Premise Account Manager is responsible for increasing the sales, correctly ordering the products, rotation of all products, merchandising the accounts, and building and maintaining customer relationships with on premise accounts such as bars, restaurants, etc. This role is also responsible for opening up new on-premise accounts.

Viva Distributing, LLC began operations in March 2001 in El Paso, TX. Warehouse locations include Amarillo, Lubbock, Abilene, Midland/Odessa, San Angelo, and El Paso. Viva operates 45 routes that service over 3,000 customers throughout West Texas with a team of 95 dedicated employees.

Responsibilities:Maintain proper inventory for all accounts to ensure that out of stocks do not occur.Ensure updated promotional and frontline price changes are given to customers.Required to complete mandated distribution goals and maintain distribution levels on all core packages for on premise accounts.Maintain display standards in all accounts according on-premise standards.Inspect all product codes in an account.Swap out any close dated product from the account.Clean up and repackage all broken and torn packages that may occur on site.Communicate with/manage route driver, helper & merchandiser to ensure daily activities are followed according to procedure.Follow company and supplier standards and guidelines regarding brands and market execution.Sell in new products and displays.Maintain positive customer relations.Help to resolve customer complaints or concerns and conduct daily business with integrity and follow through.Responsible for the proper product rotation within specific accounts.Maintain open and clear communications with owners, managers and employees at all on premise accounts.Always operate in a safe manner.Ensure assigned vehicle is clean and well maintained (Check fluid levels, tire pressure, and oil/transition/H20/washer fluid levels. Contact mechanic when necessary).Deliver out of stock products to accounts.Train new personnel.Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.Maintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresCompensation/Benefits:

Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:

Experience and basic knowledge of the methods, materials, and equipment used in the beverage industryMust have knowledge of TABC regulations and lawsWorking knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the tradeAbility to prepare/maintain accurate records & reports.Must be able to pass a drug test & background check.Must hold a valid driver's licenseExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customersMust be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practicesHigh school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferredPhysical Requirements

Repeatedly lifting 10-25 pounds including overhead multiple times daily.Moving carts/dolly that weigh up to 75 pounds repeatedly daily.Pushing hand truck with up to 150 lbs. of weight on it multiple times daily.Prolonged periods of sitting while driving.Ability to stand and walk frequently.Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.Work in both indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
