Provides highly responsible and confidential administrative support independently and with initiative and minimal guidance.Administers programs and processes that are specific to the bureaus and divisions being supported.Maintains scheduling for Division Commander and staff.Maintains schedules and files; creates, updates, and maintains complex spreadsheets, databases, and reports; prepares comprehensive reports, forms, and correspondence.Provides customer service by phone, email, US mail, and in person; responds to questions related to Division operations.Arranges meetings and conferences for the Division staff members, including monthly meetings with Community Outreach liaisons from each MCSO patrol district.Assists supervisor and command staff with researching, compiling, and analyzing complex data; reports results to Command staff.Monitors and tracks budget and purchases; assists in purchasing, accounting, payroll, and fiscal account duties in support of the Division budget.Processes confidential/sensitive material and information.Comprehends and interprets Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Policy and Procedures, and the Maricopa County Administrative Manual; prepares information for the Division Commander and the Division.Supports the development of departmental goals.Resolves complex inquiries and complaints from County employees, the public, other agencies, and members of the Criminal Justice System.Makes recommendations for development of projects or programs.Serves as a liaison to answer questions on departmental processes and policies.Coordinates a wide variety of contact with community members and officials.Creates, manages, and archives creative/digital assets of Division.Coordinates with the Public Information Office to publicize Division events and activities (e.g., sharing photos, videos, and creative/digital contents).Supports MCSO events organized by Division including annual Awards Ceremony and Memorial Tribute Ceremony.Drives to events or offsite locations as needed.Trains other employees and provides work direction for lower-level staff as directed.Attends meetings and provides notes as required.Working Conditions

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The Maricopa County Human Resources Department reserves the right to admit to the selection process only those candidates considered to be the most highly qualified. Those selected will be assessed based on the evaluation of listed education and experience. The hiring authority will interview and select the successful candidate from a list provided by Human Resources.
