Business/ Data Analyst - Prime Finance/ Capital MarketsDuration: 12 months plus
(possible extension or conversion)Location: HYBRID W/ ONSITE REQUIREMENT - 3 days onsite

Working closely with the
business and internal technology teams , you would
build-out and maintain our Prime Brokerage platforms
across
both the
cash and synthetics set of products . You would manage complex projects that will involve everything from incorporating a new functionality within the existing ecosystem, to analyzing new requirements, documenting solutions, managing implementation and testing systems, ensuring that they are fit for purpose. You would regularly work with a range of high-profile stakeholders.
The Prime Finance Technology Data Analyst will apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. This role will be accountable for the quality, timeliness of end results of project with varying degree of complexity within the Prime Finance area Markets Technology division.
Responsibilities
:
Working as a Technical Data Analyst on a
multi-year build out of a data analytics platform
to
support the Prime Finance business
owning the
capture and documentation of clear data requirements using user stories and ConfluenceWork with the business users on
requirement gathering, identifying systematic sources of data, understand the interlinkages between the data sets and have a high-level understanding of any logic or calculations
being performed on the data sets as well as the use caseDocument clear test acceptance criteria on requirements
for a given engagement and work with QA to develop test strategies for both the
data and visualisation layersWorking closely with development teams to break down requirements and ensuring impacts are understoodCommunicate key project risks, define mitigation strategies and manage resolutionProactively follows escalation and change control processesManage relationship with Business and take ownership for providing regular project updates to key business and technology stakeholders
Qualifications
:
8+ years of experience in business and data analysisStrong
Global Capital Markets knowledge
ideally
gained within Prime Financeproven track record of
business analysis experience
and
strong familiarity with data analysis techniquesStrong investigation and data analysis skills with intermediate SQL, basic Python skillsProven track record in
building out data visualisation reporting platformsExcellent interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder expectationsFlexibility to work with a global team, across geographies and time zonesDemonstrated experience to fully
utilise JIRA/Confluence capabilitiesStrong verbal / written communications skillsTenacious and prepared to see things through to completionSelf-starter who works with minimal supervisionStrong influencing and negotiation skills; ability to build and maintain effective networks and relationships
Education
:Bachelor's University degree or equivalent experience
