JOB TITLE (#25073): Registered Nurse / Emergency Department - Lawrenceville, GAMinimum of 3 years current experience in an emergency department or major trauma center emergency roomGreenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to fill an opening with an Outpatient Clinic located in Lawrenceville, GeorgiaSchedule of the Registered Nurse:This is a Full-time positionResponsibilities of the Registered Nurse:Emergency Department Nurses will provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill and injured veteransDuties include documenting observations, assessments, and changes in patient's condition; collaborating with health team members to facilitate positive patient care outcomes; providing a full range of nursing care to patients with various physical and behavioral problems; and being accountable for meeting and maintaining the qualification standardsAssessment and care of patients with a wide range of physical and psychological diagnoses and with a wide range of treatment modalitiesCare of patients undergoing operative/invasive proceduresCare of patients requiring special precautions such as isolationInserting and maintenance of peripheral linesMaintaining central lines for administration of intravenous fluidComplete and accurate documentation of care, on time, according to facility/unit policiesPhlebotomy and bedside testingOn-call status may be required at the discretion of the Nurse ManagerInsertion and troubleshooting of Urinary cathetersInitiates patient education, as prescribed by the physician during dischargeDisplay and promote professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions with patients and their families/caregiversMay be required to work with COVID-19-positive patients and Patients Under Investigation (PUI), for COVID 19RequirementsMust have at least 3 years current (must have worked within the last six months) experience in an emergency department or major trauma center emergency room with no more than a six-month gap working in that settingMust be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agencyBachelor's Degree in Nursing or in a related field or a master's degree in Nursing or in a related field is highly preferredMust have an unrestricted registered nurse license from any state (United States)Preferred to have the Certification of Emergency Nursing (CEN) through the Board of Certifications for Emergency Nurses (BCEN). Nurses with Acute/Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) certifications through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Certification Corporation (AACN) with ED experience will also be considered.
