Job Summary
The IT Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the company's entire IT operations. The successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives to align IT with business objectives, manage the IT team, and ensure that infrastructure and systems are secure, scalable, and support overall business goals. In this role, the IT Director will:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Lead and manage the IT department, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT strategies and plans that align with organizational objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and systems, ensuring scalability and security.
  • Oversee IT budgets and expenditures to ensure effective and cost-efficient use of resources.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and deliver solutions that enhance business operations.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend the adoption of those that align with business goals.
  • Ensure availability and performance of critical IT systems through proactive monitoring and management.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance cybersecurity measures and protect company data and systems from threats.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to optimize business processes and customer experience.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (required).
  • 7-10 years of experience in IT management, including team leadership and strategy development.
  • Experience managing large-scale IT projects, infrastructure, and cybersecurity measures.

Special Requirements

  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on fostering collaboration.
  • Proficient in IT infrastructure, systems management, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering effective, business-aligned technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and resource management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Additional Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in a similar role within a mid-sized company or regional organization.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, digital transformation, and emerging tech trends.

Work Environment

  • This role is primarily onsite in a regional office setting, with the possibility of occasional remote work. Travel may be required based on project needs.
