We are looking for a great Quality Inspector for our client to add to their team. Ideal candidates are people with high attention to detail and have excellent math and measuring skills. Experience as a manufacturing quality inspector is a must for this position. Each candidate must submit a recent, detailed resume. Shift hours are M - F 8 AM - 5PM, pay rate is $19/hour.
salary: $18 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Determine and utilize appropriate inspection methods and instruments (micrometers, height gauges, air gauges, calipers, CMM, etc) to complete in-process and final inspection of machined parts and assemblies.
Initiate nonconformance records and disposition of parts, not meeting requirements
Complete First Article Inspections to AS9102 and company/contractual requirements
Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel to identify root causes, troubleshoot and address errors and trends, and negotiate resolution of non-conforming and necessary re-work or re-inspection
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 50lbs
