Position Overview:
As a Social Media and Website Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping our online presence and engaging with our audience. You will work closely with our marketing and content teams to develop and implement social media strategies, create compelling content, and maintain our website. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry while contributing to the growth of our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok).Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our audience.Analyze social media performance metrics and provide recommendations for optimization.Content Creation:Create visually appealing and informative graphics, videos, and written content related to baseball events, news, and updates.Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop ideas for social media campaigns and website articles.Website Maintenance:Update and maintain the company website with fresh and relevant content, including news articles, blog posts, and event updates.Assist in ensuring the website's functionality, user experience, and mobile responsiveness.Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and design, to align digital efforts with overall marketing strategies.Contribute ideas and insights to team discussions and meetings.Qualifications:
Passion for baseball and a strong understanding of the sport.Current enrollment in a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Digital Media) or recent graduate.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools.Basic knowledge of website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.Enthusiastic team player with a can-do attitude.
