PURPOSE

This is a salary position exempt from overtime, responsible for the documentation of quality of installation and conditions of materials received on job sites. Create and develop relationships supportive of the Baker Group mission statement with employees, internal and external customers. Maintain and grow the “Customer for Life” concept for existing and new customers. Performs related work as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.Responsible for all inspections related to installations, testing, commissioning for projects in the fieldPerform daily inspections of Baker Group installations, document in appropriate coordination systemPrepare daily QA/QC report regarding inspections, material and non-conformancesConduct inspection of all ongoing activitiesConduct inspections of all material deliveries, making sure that arriving material matches ordered specifications and quantities. Follow up with supplier to correct any discrepanciesPhotograph all Baker Group installations after completion and organize all photos on Baker Group servers for easy future referenceAttend all inspections with client/contractor representativesSubmit inspection reports in coordination with concerned project managersPrepare weekly surveillance reports, non-conformance reports and verification of corrective actionsCheck drawings and documents use at site for approvals and compliance with project requirementsEnsure that all work is carried out per the approved method statements and drawingsEnsure that all equipment used is calibrated and has a valid certificateAssist/coordinate the preparation of the final handing over of QC/QA documents, testing and commissioning reportsPreparation of testing and commissioning method statements in coordination with vendors, general contractors and project owners representativesAssist with organizing and storing of material/equipmentVerify that the field is following Manufacturing installation requirementsRecord and document all Manufacturing installation instructionsAccurate daily time and equipment reportingMINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Journeyman License orAssociates/Bachelor’s Degree in related field or5 years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance – Quality ControlCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver’s LicenseOSHA 30 Hour CertificateMENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
