We are currently looking for a
Prototype Quality Assurance Intern
to join our team in
Novi, Michigan . You will be responsible for the quality of all prototype parts received by the Nissan Technical Center in Farmington Hills, MI. This requires evaluation of parts tracked by Nissan, contact with suppliers to inform them of Nissan's prototype part quality requirements, and evaluation of suppliers on an ongoing basis to assure suppliers will be able to meet Nissan requirements.
A Day in the Life:Work alongside team to review and approve pre-production parts based on Nissan's new product quality procedure Inspection Reports and Special Characteristics Key Feature Diagrams.Examine supplier parts' measurement data and ensure they meet Nissan standards.Address quality concerns with suppliers and help resolve problems.Assist with part quality issues, special assignments, and internal team support.Who We're Looking for:
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer EngineeringMinimum 3.0 GPAStrong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; knowledge of engineering drawings and CAD; proficiency in Microsoft Office.Must be a US Citizen or Permanent ResidentAbility to perform work onsite in Novi, MI
