Requirements / Qualifications

1. A completed EDJOIN classified application2. Copy of High School Diploma OR GED Certificate, or copy of transcripts showing high school graduation date (PROOF OF EDUCATION MUST ACCOMPANY APPLICATION)3. Certificate of keyboarding/typing of 45 WPM or more. Test must be a 5 min typing test, done in person and certificate must be signed and dated by test proctor within the last 12 months.

Certificate of keyboarding/typing of 45 WPM or more must include the following:1. Name of organization administering the exam2. Your name, first and last3. Date exam was taken (within the past 12 months)4. Certificate must be signed by proctor of the exam

Comments and Other Information

One (1) year of responsible experience performing varied clerical work.

*Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates approved by the American Red Cross, to be obtained within 30 days of employment

Prior to employment, all applicants are subject to a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and a fee for processing. Authorization of employment will not be granted until the fingerprint clearance from DOJ has been accepted.

CURRENT EMPLOYEES SHALL REMAIN IN A POSITION FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE BEGINNING DATE OF AN INITIAL PROBATION OR PROMOTIONAL PROBATIONARY PERIOD (PER CONTRACT, ARTICLE 15).
