Marketing Director – The Assistant Marketing Coordinator’s primary responsibility and day-to-day activities will typically be overseen by the Marketing Director, focusing on marketing strategies, campaigns, and departmental goals.Secondary Direct Report : Executive Vice President, Business Development – The Assistant Marketing Coordinator would also report to the Executive Vice President on matters related to business development, ensuring that marketing efforts align with the company's business development strategies and goals. This may involve collaboration on proposals, client presentations, and market research initiatives.Reports:

N/ARole Purpose

The Assistant Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the firm’s marketing efforts by assisting in the development, coordination, and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns, and client initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in promoting the company's brand, enhancing its market presence, and supporting business development efforts. The Assistant Marketing Coordinator works closely with various teams within the company, including business development, operations, and executive leadership, to ensure cohesive and effective communication of the company's message to clients, partners, and the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Campaigns:

Assist in the creation, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media initiatives to promote the company’s services and projects.Content Creation:

Develop and manage content for various marketing channels, including the company website, social media platforms, newsletters, and brochures. This includes writing, editing, and proofreading materials to ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging.Proposal and Presentation Support:

Collaborate with project teams to develop marketing materials, proposals, and presentations for client pursuits, ensuring they align with the company’s brand standards and strategic goals.Event Support:

Provide creative and administrative planning support of company events, trade shows, and industry conferences, including logistics, promotional materials, and on-site support to enhance brand visibility and networking opportunities.Photography & Videography:

Coordinate project photography and videography, including organizing shoots, liaising with professional photographers/videographers, and ensuring that visual content aligns with brand standards. Support the capture of high-quality images and videos for use in marketing materials, proposals, and social mediaMarket Research:

Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and client needs to inform marketing strategies and identify potential business opportunities.Social Media Management:

Manage and monitor the company’s social media accounts, creating engaging content and analyzing performance metrics to optimize reach and engagement.Website Management:

Assist in maintaining and updating the company website with fresh content, project updates, and relevant information to ensure it accurately reflects the company’s capabilities and achievements.Brand Management:

Ensure all marketing materials and communications adhere to the company’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent and professional image.External Communications:

Lead internal and external communications for the firm.Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to the Marketing Specialist and Marketing Director to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.Administrative:

Perform various administrative tasks to support Business Development such as scheduling appointments, meetings, and trips.Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:

2-4 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the construction, architecture, or engineering industries.Skills:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in marketing tools and software, including content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and email marketing platforms.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) or similar design software.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Availability for occasional work-related travel.Personal Attributes:Creative and innovative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.High level of professionalism and a strong work ethic.Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the commercial construction industry.Knowledge of proposal management software (e.g., OpenAsset, Unanet).Understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies.
