Seeking a Skilled Electrician for a Project in Gibson City, IL!!
Job Description
We are seeking electricians for a 3-month project in Gibson City, IL in a contract position. This role involves working in an ethanol plant within an industrial setting. Responsibilities include installing new equipment, setting supports, installing cable tray, running conduit, pulling wire/cable, and terminating devices and motors. Proficiency in running and bending rigid conduit is a must.
Qualifications
1+ year industrial electrical experience
Proficient in bending rigid conduit
Proficient in running cable/wire
Pulling wire
Work Environment
Plant - industrial setting. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, and steel-toed boots.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 48 hours per week (Monday-Thursday 10-hour days, Friday 8-hour day).
Current contractors are working 50-60 hours per week.
$100 per diem is provided for days worked. No weekends as of now.
