Executes procurement strategies for assigned components (goods / services), to ensure that quality, cost effective products are delivered in a timely manner.Job Description

Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk together with the project manager.Capable of resolving commercial issues, and has advanced skills to manage purchase orders of high values and complexity.Fulfills strategic inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget.Makes sure all the information necessary for issuing the inquiry is available.Checks purchasing conditions are applicable to the project and if not, reports to the Project Procurement Manager.Expedites bids.Conducts negotiations with vendors.Prepares the purchase order documents in due time and checks for quality.Identify and implement synergies between projects to maximize value creation.Identify execution and commercial risks and apply mitigations.Continuously communicate order status with internal stakeholders, and ensure accuracy of system data.May serve as technical expert in a Purchasing domain.Proactively support less experienced Buyers.Ability to drive improvement initiatives.Autonomy in leading a purchase order negotiation.Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk together with Sourcing, Engineering and Project.Provide expertise in specific purchasing domain.You are meant for this job if:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent.Minimum 3 years in related field or equivalent.Experienced in applying applicable contractual and administrative terms.Experienced in SAP and other applicable business systems.Experienced in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.Ability to work in a team environment, gives and take constructive feedback well, maintain high professional standards and promote good team dynamics.Ability to handle dynamic work environment in a proactive manner.Capable of conducting commercial negotiations for highly complex products.Capable of being the sole commercial contact for an agreement of high complexity.Courage to insist on compliance in situations where the process and/or requirements are challenged or not followed.Capable of professionally chairing internal and external meetings.Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.A customer focused, proactive and innovative mindset.Strong ability to build and maintain effective networks and relations at all levels.Cooperative and service minded.Strong organizational and time management skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.Ability to understand and communicate within diverse cultural environments.Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without restriction.
