Description
The IT Asset Analyst is responsible for managing procurement transactions and asset administration activities to support IT requirements within the company. Reporting to the IT Asset Manager, the incumbent assists in the day to day activities for the team responsible for executing IT Procurement transactions and performing the support and administration duties associated with IT Asset Life Cycle Management.
The primary objective of the IT Asset Analyst is to administer the lifecycle (acquisition through disposal) of IT assets in the most cost efficient and effective manner possible and to execute the purchase of IT products and services required to support the company.
Essential Functions:Under the direction of the ITAM Manager, conducts and relays the day to day activities associated with the asset management teamExecutes procurement functions, as requiredProvision Cell Phones, iPad and Mi-Fi devicesReceive equipment as it arrives and add to stock levelsOversee and validate Cycle CountsBarcoding and Tracking devicesPicking stock to fulfill requestsHandling IT Asset Disposition ActivitiesImaging and other On-Site Repair as needed for Desktops and LaptopsOther requests as determined by ManagerWork Conditions
Schedule: Monday through Friday8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - Some nights and weekendsOn Call: all year on a rotating scheduleSitting for extended periods of time.Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.Ability to climb ladders to inspect wireless devices.Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.Qualifications

2 (2) years IT experience.Possess strong communication and analytical skills.Candidate must be able to interact and provide executive-level communications to VPs, SVPs and CIOsMust be able to work out of Victoria Corporate Officein Victoria, TX.Expertise in the following technical skills
ITAM Processes.Provides direction based on business strategies to a major segment of the company.Extensive Analytical Capability.Project and Time Management skills.Proficient in Hardware troubleshooting and repair (A+)
