Description
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
THE ROLE
Have you wanted an opportunity to own and manager the creation of software for an advanced satellite broadband telecom service? In this role you will be the product owner for software services for secure communications and strong authentication, enabling the confidentiality for our customers and security for our constellation. Our team drives the development, deployment, and operation of mission-critical security systems for the Kuiper constellation and customer terminals. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager - Tech, interested in building services around public key infrastructure, certificate management, and identity management for Project Kuiper.

About the team
What We Do
Kuiper Trust Services owns the creation and operation of services to protect customer data and Kuiper devices. Candidates for this role will enjoy driving requirements with customers (Kuiper Software teams) and iterating on designs with Kuiper Trust Services software engineers. You will help the Trust Services team design and build key satellite manufacturing and provisioning systems, secure access mechanisms, services to sign firmware, and global communication security services.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
