We are looking for a Bill of Materials Specialist to join an amazing team in the Minneapolis area. As a BOM Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all components and materials required for production are accurately documented and managed. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams to maintain up-to-date Bills of Materials, monitor material availability, and ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Create and manage accurate Bills of Materials for manufacturing projects, ensuring all components, materials, and specifications are correctly documented.
Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret product designs and ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements.
Monitor and update BOMs as needed to reflect changes in production processes, materials, or supplier information.
Ensure cost efficiency and resource availability by maintaining up-to-date information on part numbers, lead times, and material costs.
Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials based on production schedules.
The essential functions of this role include:
working up to 4 hrs of overtime per week
