The Analyst will assist in the ongoing development of portfolio analytics tools for use by decision-makers to drive top-of-the-market valuation performance and to inform on-going portfolio management strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Valuation

• Work with the internal team and the external appraiser managers to perform the valuation of properties across the portfolios on a quarterly basis.Review Argus and excel valuation models to ensure accuracy by crosschecking property records, asset management feedback, and relevant market data. Run Argus scenarios to understand the impact of quarterly changes on performance.Monitor and maintain market and asset-specific property data on an ongoing basis to ensure timely information for each internal valuation and external appraisal assignment.• Assist in research of national economic and real estate market overviews with the ability to correlate trends, conditions, and impact to property level valuations.

Develop ability to articulate necessary valuation changes in writing or verbally.Complete reporting deliverables as required by clients in a neat and professional manner.Portfolio and Data Management

• Support the development of data tools, cross portfolio analysis, performance analytics and metric databases to improve the valuations process and results for the team.

• Assist with preparation/coordination of presentations and materials for board and/or valuation committee meetings.

Respond to regular and ad hoc requests.QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in analyzing commercial real estate from an acquisition, lending, leasing, and/or appraisal perspective a plus.Basic financial modeling skills using Excel and basic knowledge of the remaining Microsoft Office Suite• Basic Argus Enterprise (AE) understanding a plus

• Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with both internal (portfolio/asset management, transactions, research & strategy, investment, finance, risk, etc.) and external (third-party research, appraisal, and brokerage firms, etc.) constituents

Strong oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to write various types of reports and business correspondence. Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively.Ability to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic and fast paced environment while handling multiple projectsPossesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, a positive attitude and genuine passion for excellenceHighly developed attention to detailExtremely organized with a talent for bringing order to new situationsTeam player who enjoys and thrives in a collaborative environmentIntuitive thinker who adapts well to changeEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum 0-2 years in commercial real estate or other business analysis/valuation, preferably within an institutional investment environment• Bachelors Degree with preference for economics, business, real estate, finance or related major

• MBA or Masters in Real Estate or Finance is a plus

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
