This is a 100% on-site position (Monday through Friday) that may require up to 25% travel.
About the team and position
As a Commercial Marketing Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to represent ADESA with our top national Commercial and Dealer sellers. You will be responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume and profitability through effective promotion and advertising initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in creating compelling marketing plans for advertisements, sales materials, point of sale displays and social media and email campaigns while adhering to corporate guidelines and policies.
You will work with internal cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive marketing plans that support new or existing business and create opportunities to maintain or increase market share. You must be a proven leader with a strong professional presence and have the ability to manage a variety of programs that meet/exceed business objectives while being accountable for delivering programs on time and on-budget.

What you'll be doingDevelop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales attendance and achieve maximum dollar sales volume.Coordinate advertising and promotional materials for auctions, ensuring timely submission to printers.Monitor market trends and competition to recommend competitive strategies.Generate sales analysis reports and market reports for management review.Use data software to analyze marketing and sales performance.Oversee the creation of appealing marketing content, including promotional materials and advertising campaigns.Monitor marketing performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create captivating marketing campaigns, encompassing digital, social media, email, and traditional channels.Maintain open communication with Commercial Sales partners, General Managers and other personnel.Implement effective inside sales and sales promotions to enhance auction sales.Foster a positive and engaging work environment, setting a high standard for attitude and performance.Embrace your mistakes! A Bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate institution.At least two years of experience in a customer-facing role or working with teams.Strong writing and communication skills.Suited to working a traditional in-office 5-day a week professional environment.Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.Highly organized with an unflappable attention to detail.Have a sense of humor. We're car remarkets, not brain surgeons.Experience quickly getting up to speed using online software.Willingness to be a people person! You'll be working with team members across ADESA and Carvana.
