About the Role
Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to support the Integrated Care Management Program (iCMP) in Chelsea, Massachusetts.Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with iCMP Pharmacist and Care Managers to identify medication access issues and develop solutions.Manage refills for a selected patient population through MGH Outpatient Pharmacy, utilizing Mckesson and EPIC systems.Maintain accurate data on medication management and shipping using Microsoft Excel.Utilize Pharmacy Benefit Manager programs to support pharmacy benefits and resolve rejected claims.Provide education and support to iCMP team members and patients on medication-related issues.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to develop rapport and build trust.Requirements
High School diploma / GED required.Pharmacy Tech License, state of MA, National Pharmacy Tech Certification – PTCB, ExCPT.0 years of Pharmacy Technician experience required; 6 + months of experience preferred.2 years of experience in health system pharmacy setting preferred.About Mass General Brigham
