Tax Senior with ASC 740 experience
to join our growing Tax Department. This important role includes client relationships, technical tax compliance and consulting work, and managing staff:Reviewing individual and non-individual tax returnsPreparing, reviewing, and auditing tax provisions for public and private companies’ reporting under ASC 740Reviewing Federal, State tax returns and work papers for midsized to large C corporationsAssisting entire Tax practice on resolving day-to-day tax issuesCommunicating with federal and state tax authorities as neededResearching complex tax issuesAssisting in planningMentoring and training staffBusiness developmentRequirementsWhat Skills You'll bring:3-4 years’ experience within tax at a public accounting firmMS in TaxationCPA strongly preferredExperience with tax provisions for public and private companies’ reporting under ASC 740Experience with Federal, State tax returns and work papers for midsized to large C-corporationsStrong team player and a commitment to high quality, detailed workAbility to deal with clients and possess “executive presence”How You'll Stand Out:Self-starter with the ability to deal with multiple prioritiesPassion for client service and strong communication skillsBilingual (English and Spanish)Ability to work periodic overtimeBenefitsWe embrace authenticity.
