We're actively seeking a talented Sales Advocate I to join our team. This role will be hybrid and based in Newport Beach, CA.As a Sales Advocate you will work directly with Regional Business Teams to provide support for internal and external partners. Train the field on Pacific Life's tools and services. Train financial professionals and their staff on new business forms, systems, and processes. Work with Regional Business team to develop sales pipeline.How you will make an impact:Support pre-sale process by working with Financial Professionals (or designated contact person), Field Wholesalers, Internal Wholesalers, Internal Partners, and Management.Assist Sales Advocates in the onboarding process. This may include (but not limited to):

Setting up and completing webinars on various topics

Train on end-to-end process, Pacific Life underwriting methods, Planned Performance Tracking and Lifeline

Assist Sales Advocates to proactively engage on informals and Papers Only submissions

Explore the nature of the case (competition, discuss other offers, client background, when is the client meeting, etc). Follow up after the client meeting to encourage submission.

Enters required information into CRM in a timely manner

Build and sustain relationships that contribute to repeatable business

Assist the field with how to complete forms, answer questions about the underwriting and new business process

Actively and consistently promote our digital options including E-Application, DocuSign, and E-Delivery

Assist the field with how to complete an E-Application

Be able to conduct E-Application demos on demand and conduct ZOOM webinars on our products and services

Provide forms and packages as requested

Sales Support:Integral part of the Regional Business Teams. Provides key updates on new and existing producers/cases, particularly high-profile cases. Provides pending pipeline reports. Works with the rest of the Regional Business Team to keep the pipeline full and moving.

Be aware of the sales goals of the Wholesalers and the channels to take meaningful actions to meet/exceed those sales goals.

Aligns with strategic goals established between PL Key Accounts and our Focus accounts.

Assist Sales Advocates with preparing new business reports for weekly RBT calls

Work closely with the Sales Advocates to discuss sales goals, pending cases / opportunities and daily activities

Assist IW and Sales Advocates in following up on active campaigns

Miscellaneous Tasks:Provide back-up support on an as needed basis

Actively participate in projects, initiatives, and team meetings

Help monitor team inbox to ensure quick and accurate responses

Log into AWS Connect at start of shift and log out at end of shift.

Remain in "Available" status to take inbound calls.

Change phone status as appropriate when on break, at lunch, in a meeting or training.

Reported "Online Time" should generally reflect 9 hours per day (45 hours per week) - Minus absences

Reported "Agent Answer Rate" should be at least 85%

Reported Non-Productive time in general should be less than 10 hours a week (Breaks/Lunches/Off Phone Activity)

Reported Outbound Calls should average 10 calls per day

The experience you will bring:Knowledge of life insurance products, the life insurance industry and procedures gained through 5+ years of experience in or through a combination of experience and coursework.

Proficient in the use of personal computers and specialized software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent written and communication skills. Strong organizational skills to perform administrative functions.

Experience with presentations in person, on ZOOM or other platforms (minimum 2 years)

May require completion of FINRA exams and attainment of required licenses

Background in customer service (minimum 2 years)

#LI-KB1Base Pay Range:The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.$31.95 - $39.05
